Terms &
payment rules.
Plain-language summary of how we work, what you owe and when, and what happens if something goes wrong.
01 · Scope
These terms govern any service provided by JEPRA Co., Ltd. (Tokyo) under the AKARI brand, including procurement, shipping and sales agency services. By placing an order or signing a sales-agency agreement, you accept these terms.
02 · Fees
Procurement & Shipping. Service fee is 10% of the product cost (excluding shipping & taxes). Shipping is charged at cost. Taxes and duties are paid by the recipient.
Sales Agency. One-time setup fee of ¥150,000 (excl. tax). 8% revenue share on revenue generated through partners signed via JEPRA, capped at 24 months from the contract date.
03 · Payment methods
- Bank wire (JPY or EUR account)
- Credit card — Visa, Mastercard, American Express
- PayPal (subject to PayPal fees)
Payment is due in full before procurement. For sales agency, the setup fee is due before kickoff; revenue share is invoiced quarterly.
04 · Shipping & risk
Risk transfers to the buyer upon handover to the carrier. We provide insurance options at cost and recommend insured shipping for any item over ¥30,000. Loss or damage claims must be filed within 7 days of delivery.
05 · Cancellation
You may cancel a procurement order before we have placed the purchase with the supplier; in that case the full amount is refunded. Once the supplier has been paid, only the service fee may be refunded, subject to supplier policies.
Sales-agency setup fees are non-refundable once kickoff has occurred.
06 · Liability
JEPRA’s liability is limited to the total fees paid for the order or contract in question. We are not liable for damages caused by carriers, customs delays, supplier defects beyond reasonable inspection, or force majeure.
07 · Privacy
We collect only the data needed to operate the service: contact details, billing information, and order content. We never sell or share your data. Full privacy policy available on request.
08 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute will be settled at the Tokyo District Court, unless a different jurisdiction is required by mandatory consumer-protection law.
